guided rock climbing
Our women's only guided rock climbing course is based in the English Lake District and runs over2 days.
The course is specifically designed to appeal to those women who feel that they will be more comfortable climbing with other women.
The course is also instructed by women and is designed to let you relax, enjoy the days, the wonderfull views and perhaps climb some thing harder than you thought was possible.
During the women's only guided climbing course, we aim to teach you to belay a leader, remove leader placed protection, climb effieiently and abseil safely.
We'll climb on some of the classic Lake District crags including Gimmer, White ghyll, Bow fell or Raven in Langdale; Dow crag; Castle rock; Black crag, Shepherds crag and Raven crag in Borrowdale.

Course programme
Both days will be multi-pitch climbing days.
We will visit two different venues over the two days and aim to get onto a high mountain crag for one of the days.
On day 1 of the guided climbing course, we'll begin by climbing an easy diff or v.diff climb and see how you find it.
We can either carry on climbing at the same grade or advance onto something harder.
The difficulty of the day is determined by you and what you want to acheive.
On day 2, we'll visit a different venue and aim to climb something harder if you are happy for this however the choice is up to you.
We are as happy to take you up long mountain routes with a great view as we are climbing harder routes that will push you to your limit.
One instructor takes no more than two clients on both days.
Essential information
Climb 365 provides you with all the safety equipment you need, including harness, helmet and ropes.
You need to wear suitable clothing including rock boots, some of which can be borrowed from Climb 365.
You do not need to be super fit or athletic but you will be stretching and using your leg and arm muscles a lot, so you should have a moderate level of fitness.
