Our single pitch rock climbing activities take place in Cumbria, UK.
Single pitch rock climbing is an ideal activity for people who have not climbed before, those who have climbed a little in a wall and for families with children.
We teach all you need to know about harnesses, ropes, belaying, climbing technique and climbing calls in a non-threatening situation.
The climbs are no more than 20m high and after each climb you are lowered down to the ground.
As well as climbing yourself, you learn how to watch over the safety of others while they climb.
We can arrange events to last either half a day or a full day.
In the past we have catered for all kinds of groups; school groups, stag do's, hen do's, scout packs, 40th birthdays, summer camps, friends day out... The list go's on.

Activity programme
We meet you at an agreed place and time and often drive onto our venue.
From the beginning of the session you'll learn how to use a harness, tie in correctly and belay each other as you climb.
Each venue has climbs of varying difficulty so there is always something for everyone.
There is also the possibility of doing a small abseil at the climbing venue.
One instructor works with no more than eight clients, so if you have more than eight people we make up separate groups.
Essential information
Climb 365 provides you with all the necessary safety equipment, including harness, helmets and ropes.
The group needs its own transport, and everyone should wear suitable clothing, including walking boots or trainers.
We can discuss all this with your group leader.
You need not be super fit but you will be stretching and using your leg and arm muscles a lot, so you do should have a moderate level of fitness to really enjoy the activity.
We are AALA licensed and therefore able to instruct groups of children and young people under 18 without their parents being present.

All of these activities can be run on a max 1:8 ratio. This is to offer you the best ballance between a quality level of attention and value for money.
