Tyrolean traverse group activities
What is a tyrolean traverse?
A tyrolean traverse is a rope bridge across a large gorge.
It requires a team effort to pull team members across the gorge and is a fantastic group activity.
Why should I do this activity with climb365?
A tyrolean traverse is a technical activity that requires a high level of understanding of rope systems and forces. All of our instructors have become nationally qualified to run tyroleans. We also recognise that this might be an intimidating experience for some people and do our best to give you all the reassurance and coaching needed to complete the traverse.
Where would we go?
We run tyrolean traverses at two main venues: Cathedral quarry and Hodge close in Little Langdale.
